Terms & Conditions
Currency of Price: Our price is based upon current labour and material costs, and consequently is subject to rise and fall adjustments. Prices are also subject to rise due to supply chain pressures due to COVID-19 and other factors. Where possible we try our best to absorb or minimise any price rises.
Tariff: For products made in the USA, a tariff may come into effect in the future due to the Trump administration in the USA and a reciprocal tariff by the Australian government. Any tariff that may come into effect would be additional to the prices quoted and would be payable by the customer.
Middle East conflict: Vessel shipping routes and air freight have been impacted by the Middle East conflict, which may lead to extended transit times for inbound goods.
Freight Surcharge: A temporary 20% freight surcharge is in effect until further notice. This applies to all freight charges for orders received on or after 7th April 2026.
Pricing exclusions: Pricing does not include any costs incurred in commissioning systems. Additional customs charges of any sort due to inspection, fumigation, quarantine, etc. are also not included.
Fees: Additional customs charges and duties of any sort may be charged to the customer, including fees for inspection, fumigation, quarantine etc.
GST: All prices listed are excluding GST. A 10% GST is payable on all prices listed.
Retention of Title: Southern Cross Science Pty Ltd retains the title of all goods until full payment is received. Risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer upon receipt.
Payment: Full payment within thirty (30) days from date of invoice.
Variations: Payment of authorised variations not to be held past Southern Cross Science payment terms.
Customer Ordering: All orders to be confirmed in writing. When ordering please cite your Quotation reference number if you have been provided with a quote.
Delivery: Southern Cross Science Pty Ltd will not be held responsible in any way, (monetary or other) for the delay in receiving goods.

Retention: No retention of any monies of any kind to be held on the quoted services or goods.
