Tissue grinder is composed of two components to be ordered separately: 50ml Tissue Grinding Vessel (SKU: 6150) and Tissue pestle PTFE (SKU: 6350).

Ideal for small amounts of tissue.

PTFE pestle has 0.15 - 0.25 mm clearance with borosilicate mortar.

Volumes stated are working volumes.

Avoid excessive generated heat as could cause binding.

Mega-Cassette embedding cassettes have been designed to accommodate a variety of large specimens, including bone, eye, teeth etc. They are made from white plastic with a snap latch, hinge-lock, disposable, slotted lid. These cassettes have three large writing surfaces and are resistant to solvents and decalcifying solutions. Used with the RM513-M base mould.

Cassette dimensions 30 x 24 x 11mm. Base mould dimensions 31 x 24 x 13.5mm.

Tube storage & tube rack all in one

Comprised of a storage box and eight removable tube segments allowing you to easily take what you need - an entire segment or individual sample - and store the rest.

Once the segments are removed, simply replace the box lid and leave the remaining samples in storage.
